Another question regarding storyboarding (I guess the question is brought on by the words "truck in" at the bottom) where do you learn the story-board jargon? Like when there will be story-board pictures people will do sometimes when a character will be outlined but inside will be like a couple of letters instead of the complete drawing OR the directional arrows and such. Did you learn that in a school or did you learn it while working in the trade?

I learned it while working. TU or Truck In is just a camera term for zoom in and Truck Out is for zoom out..but you can learn all this in just a few days.

WOW, if one storyboard frame takes 15 minutes just to finalize, I wonder exactly how long it took to storyboard all of Truth or Square (especially with all of the revisions)! Awesome work...I imagine this was done on a Cintiq? Well, I guess that's obvious since it says 'digital art' :D

The Cintiq is the way of things in storyboarding now.

I thought it was pretty funny though when I saw somewhere (some video...?) that the SpongeBob storyboard artists had their Cintiqs on, but the only thing they seemed to be using them for was to hold post-it notes...all the edges of the Cintiqs were covered with crazy sketches! :D I guess the Cintiq must make cleanup work a lot easier though, for one thing.

XD, as always nice work.

I like spongebob pretty much, but the newest episodes are kind of dumb, i prefer some older episodes. Anyway, it's still a good show XD

This one looks incredible. How long does it take to sketch a scene like this?

Thanks... Uhhh, Im not sure but its as fast as I can. Im thinking about 15 -20 min for this one with the other poses I had to put in the shot. I dont time myself per shot so its hard to say but I can say in a day I have a ton of shots to do, so it feels like 5 seconds.
